WTFriday: Stan Lee Manga “Ultimo”

This was announced last year, but it's finally about to come to fruition: The Stan Lee manga, "Ultimo," hits "Shonen Jump" next month. I know manga is a Big Thing and I don't blame Stan Lee for wanting a piece, but seeing his name attached to pictures of guys with eyes five times the size their mouths is just kind of weird, you know?

In a story that seems pulled from the Manga Template Plot file, it's a story about two boys, Ultimo (good) and Vice (bad), who mysterious appear and then start fighting. Lee's co-creator is "Shaman King" artist and writer Hiroyuki Takei, and there's a Free Comic Book Day preview online now, if you're curious.
