A fan project called Star Wars Uncut has divided the complete original "Star Wars" movie into 472 different 15 second clips, and assigned them to 472 different fans who will film their own version. The hundreds of clips will then be stitched together as one giant collaborative Frankenstein fan remake, which I can only imagine will be insane. It's still early in the process, but you can already see the completed clips side by side with the original scenes.
