This isn't totally comics news, but anyone who grew up during the early '90s (especially obnoxious kids) will be filled with joy by the news that Hasbro is re-releasing a line of Jurassic Park toys through Toys"R"Us this fall.

Extremely loosely Based on the "Jurassic Park" movies and books, the JP toy lines featured little dudes with capture net launchers and the like that every kid ever simply pretended were just exotic instruments of dino death.

To help expedite this fantasy, Hasbro (then Kenner) included dinosaur villains with huge chunks of soft, rubbery flesh kids could pop out to expose the monsters' inner workings.

They called it "Dino Damage."

Later lines (like the upcoming toys) got rid of the rubbery flesh and just made the things look like zombiesaurs, which is pretty neat too if you're into that sort of thing.

There's probably zero chance fans will ever see a trade paper back collecting Topps' original "Jurassic Park" comic, but if you're one of the 17 kids who bought it, dig 'em out and let us know what you thought.

Yeah, that's the stuff!
