Remember the young woman who made that amazing Batman hoodie a while ago? Well, the highly adorable Tala Cox is back, and this time she's making a custom Green Lantern shirt, entirely out of second hand materials. And yet again we are totally jealous, because we only wish something this awesome existed for ladies commercially. (We don't even have babydoll tees for the Lantern spectrum, c'mon!)

The finished version includes a hand-appliqued Green Lantern logo, faithful details like the the raised arc of black at the hips, and less faithful details like a more attractive scoop neck. Amazingly, Tala completed the entire project for a total of $3.50 (plus hours of hard work, of course). Check out our favorite pics from the process after the jump, and read her process posts about the journey from the thrift store to the Lantern Corps in a series of posts on her blog, Corvus Tristis: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, Part 6, and Part 7.
