What’s the Deal with Dark Horse’s Gnarly Mystery Image?

Fresh from Dark Horse Comics comes an unidentified image (on the left) teasing what we can only assume is an upcoming comic book project...

Since it's Dark Horse shooting us the pic, we're going to go ahead and assume it's part of a larger piece of art from an artist we've seen them work with before. Our strongest inkling is sometime Dark Horse artist Geof Darrow who worked with Frank Miller on both "Hard Boiled" (on the right) and "Big Guy and Rusty the Boy Robot."

Assuming it is Darrow, could the image be for another Miller collab? Is it for a new series? A licensed book? So many questions!Who do you think put together the image? Furthermore, what's Dark Horse getting at with the teasage?
