Generally speaking, pirates haven't historically seemed like the shaving sort. But unlike their various blue, black and white-bearded contemporaries, the mostly clean-shaven (perhaps by default given some of their ages) Straw Hat Pirate Crew of Eiichiro Oda's "One Piece" stay pretty well groomed. Now that the crew has entered a (likely Beli-fueled) partnership with Schick, it looks like 'stache-lessness is going to be the name of the game aboard the Thousand Sunny for awhile to come.

Japanese shavers will be able to pick up cans of Schick Shave Guard Fresh Lime Medicated Shaving Foam featuring the shaven faces of Monkey D. Luffy, Sanji and Roronoa Zoro from June through September at participating retailers. Select Schick razor holders will also feature OP stylings, plus those playing the ad campaign's mobile phone game have a chance to win towels and Hawaiian shirts.

That's all well and good, but I feel like Schick's missing a real opportunity to brand its own (insanely dangerous) version of Gillette's Mach3 razor with Zoro's three-sword fighting technique.[Via ANN]
