Every summer fans who can't make the trek to San Diego for Comic-Con wait impatiently for exclusive content to break out onto the Web via official (or usually unofficial) channels. It already happened to AMC's "The Walking Dead," and now it's finally happened to Marvel's "Thor." Unlike most fan bootlegs, however, this trailer (although tiny) looks pretty sharp.

Within minutes of popping online, Twitter was ablaze with the #Thor hashtag and numerous fans celebrating the Thunder God's live action trailer. Running just longer than five minutes, the trailer packs in appearances by Odin, Thor, Loki, Sif, Fandral, Hogun, Volstagg, Heimdall and a not-so-secret, but seriously awesome final image of a certain Asgardian menace.

The overall plot of the trailer fits right in line with what Marvel's officially teased so far and depicts Thor as an Asgardian outcast seeking redemption on Earth as his evil step-brother Loki manipulates evil from his home realm. Although S.H.I.E.L.D.'s agent Coulson is on hand to mediate, things don't necessarily go well.
