With the release of the first trailer in support of Captain America: The First Avenger, we now have fully produced, big budget footage of nearly all the major Avengers in action. Realizing this, YouTuber Yugo Higuchi prodigiously assembled (heh) clips from the Marvel Studios Cinematic Universe and created a remarkably smooth and professional looking teaser trailer for next summer's Avengers. Higuchi's trailer includes elements from numerous Marvel films, including Iron Man 2, The Incredible Hulk, Captain America: The First Avenger and, cleverly, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, in which Chris "Steve Rogers" Evans portrayed Johnny Storm AKA the Human Torch. Naturally, we've yet to see any footage of Hawkeye so his omission from this great bit of editing is forgivable, but the lack of Scarlett Johansson as Iron Man 2's Black Widow seems like a tragic oversight. Nevertheless, we're impressed and excited for the Joss Whedon-directed film to arrive in May of 2012.
