While we comics art aficionados have long been in love with the illustrations of Dave Bullock, more casual superhero fans are no doubt familiar mainly with the artist's prodigious work in animation. Bullock has worked as a storyboard artist and director on such impressive titles as Justice League: The New Frontier, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Batman Beyond, Superman: The Animated Series, The New Batman Adventures, Justice League and more. In comics, Bullock's work has been much more rare but always excellent. The artist has created several striking covers and illustrated many beautiful short stories, but his highest profile comics work is easily the standout Deadman piece from Wednesday Comics. To give you a better idea of what the man is capable of, we put together this little gallery spotlighting the work of Dave Bullock.

Just because Dave Bullock's comic book résumé is relatively small doesn't mean he isn't drawing his wrists off. Like Dustin Nguyen, Bullock's pin-up and cover work is among that which we encounter most in our weekly search for Best Art Ever (This Week) material. His fusion of the Fleischer Studios style and other period influences with a strong sense of design and drama make Bullock an easy mark for we here at ComicsAlliance, who also count Bruce Timm and Darwyn Cooke among our all-time favorites.

Because the illustrator and animator has created so many cool pieces that have made their way onto the comics Internet matrix, we really needed to give him a gallery of his own. But what you see here are just our favorites, so please visit Bullock's DeviantArt page for more of what this talented artist has created.
