Last week's finale to Fear Itself introduced readers to Nul, a manifestation of rage born from the resolution of mankind's battle with the Asgardian god of fear with lasting ties to the Hulk. Beginning in December with the release of Defenders #1 by writer Matt Fraction and his former Uncanny X-men collaborator artist Terry Dodson, this force will rear its ugly head in a major way, bringing together the only team able to properly protect the world from its power. Marvel Comics has revealed colored interior art from the first issue of the series, along with an inked variant cover by Neal Adams, which you can preview after the cut.From Marvel's official press release:
