New ‘Ultimate Spider-Man’ Trailer Includes Iron Spider Armor and More [Video]

Disney XD and Marvel have given fans a pretty thorough preview of Ultimate Spider-Man thus far, revealing the show's plot, its heroes and many of its villains. Despite knowing that Nick Fury and Agent Coulson will school Spidey, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, White Tiger and Nova in the ways of S.H.I.E.L.D. brand heroics, one major element was missing: gadgets. Much like Dan Slott's recent stories in the pages of The Amazing Spider-Man comic, it seems the S.H.I.E.L.D. training program will afford the Webslinger tons of new toys. In the new Ultimate Spider-Man trailer alone, Spidey sports new web-shooters, a very Spidery motorcycle, a jet pack and even the Iron Spider armor from Civil War. Even if you hate action figures, the sheer... toyeticism?.. of the trailer is something to behold. As a toy dude, I'm more rattled by Drake Bell's almost Poochie-like x-treme teen swag as Peter Parker. But kids seem to like swag these days, so I'll reserve full judgment until the show's April 1 premiere. See what you make of the latest Ultimate Spider-Man trailer after the jump.
