The list of familiar foes lining up to face off with Oliver Queen in the new CW series Arrow keeps on growing. Not only do we already know that we should expect China White and Deathstroke in early episodes of the show, but now it turns out that Deadshot will be turning up in early episodes of the series as well.TV Guide Magazine has the news that Michael Rowe -- Not, sadly, the Dirty Jobs host-turned-Ford spokesman, although that would be awesome -- has been cast as the assassin with a death wish for the series' third episode.

"Deadshot doesn't speak much, so he has to have that physicality, and Michael certainly has that. He has that look," explained executive producer Marc Guggenheim about the casting.

This won't be the first live-action appearance for the former Batman villain who became a fan favorite thanks to appearances in John Ostrander's Suicide Squad and Gail Simone's Secret Six; he also showed up in a couple of episodes of Smallville during the show's tenth season, and has also appeared in episodes of the animated series Justice League, Justice League Unlimited and Batman: The Brave and The Bold, as well as the animated movies Batman: Gotham Knight and Superman/Batman: Public Enemies.

As to whether we should expect to see more of the character in Arrow, Guggenheim's producing partner Greg Berlanti is playing coy. "I think that's very possible," he told TV Guide.

"The Lone Gunman," the third episode of Arrow, will air on the CW on October 23.
