Love, we've been told so many times before, means never having to say you're sorry... but come next Valentine's Day, it also means making out over the smoldering remains of your vanquished foes. Or, at least, it does if you're appearing in DC Comics' just-announced Young Romance: A New 52 Valentine's Day Special.

The one-shot anthology features writing by Catwoman's Ann Nocenti, Stormwatch's Peter Milligan and New 52 newcomers Andy Diggle and Cecil Castellucci, with art by Gene Ha, Emanuella Luppichinno, Phil Jiminez, Sanford Green and more, according to DC's blog post announcing the issue this morning. Characters featured in the issue include Batgirl, Catwoman, Batwoman, and some high-profile DC couples: Aquaman and Mera, Apollo and Midnighter and, as the cover demonstrates, Superman and Wonder Woman, getting somewhat inappropriate after some kind of robot skirmish. Seriously, heroes: Gravity-defying PDI immediately after a fight? You're members of the Justice League, for goodness' sake. Think of the children.

Young Romance: A New 52 Valentine's Day Special will be released February 6.
