You've heard of story time before bed, but for Tim Miner and his daughters, every night also includes five minutes of family drawing time - super hero style. That's the focus of 5 Minute Marvels, a blog sharing the family's take on iconic heroes from multiple points of view.

Miner began the blog earlier this year after his 6-year-old daughter Grace started drawing super heroes and invited him and her 4-year-old sister Cate to join in. Miner admits he hasn't drawn much over the past two decades, which makes his cartooning a pretty endearing way to spend time with his kids. Sometimes Grandpa Miner even joins the fray!

Here's how Miner breaks down the blog:

We take 5 minutes (that's all) every night before bedtime. We pick a character and draw it. We talk while we draw, we share our work and then we post it. We're having a lot of fun with it.

The Miners have even reached out to the site's regular visitors to submit their own family drawings, which are shared right on the blog, building a community of family illustrations.
