A-1’s ‘After School Special’ Mixtape Drops The Best Rhymes About Pokemon, Power Rangers & The Golden Girls Ever

I'm always on the lookout for good music to listen to while I work, and since I've been knee-deep in trying to catch 'em all over the past few weeks, a friend of mine sent me the link to "Charizard," a track from A-1's new mixtape that sampled the theme from "Pokemon." And no lie, you guys? Our old pal Adam Warrock has some competition for being the best geek-friendly rapper on the block, because this guy is amazing.

The "After School Special" mixtape -- A-1's seventh since his debut in 2009 -- is based around A-1 as a kid staying home from school to watch TV all day, and it includes absolutely incredible tracks sampling the themes from "The Price Is Right," "Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers," "Reading Rainbow" and "Goosebumps," and seriously? Once you hear it, you will believe a dude can spit fire about the Golden Girls. Check out the videos below.The whole thing is available to download from A-1's YouTube page, but be careful! In case you're not aware, these newfangled rapping songs occasionally contain some salty language that might be NSFW if you're listening on the job.
