Adam West And Nicolas Cage Duke Out ‘Batman’ Trivia, But Have You Heard The One About Marlon Wayans As Robin?

By now, I’m sure you’ve heard about Nicolas Cage and Adam West appearing opposite each other earlier this week on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” for a few rounds of Batman trivia. The video has been posted all over the place, and while it really isn’t all that funny, it’s a genius concept considering Cage’s “Kick-Ass” character Big Daddy is essentially Adam West’s Batman wearing the Christian Bale Batman’s clothes.

But here’s something might not have heard about if you aren’t a frequent visitor of Rob Bricken’s Topless Robot. The website recalls some unexpected Batman trivia of its own, digging back to the days when Marlon Wayans was supposed to play Robin in “Batman Returns.” The casting eventually fell through but it went far enough to produce an action figure from Kenner – an action figure that is, curiously enough just a repaint of Wayans’ likeness.

Nothing further.
