Not too long ago, a pair of Darth Vader sneakers from Adidas came to our attention, hilariously equipped with action figure style cardboard packaging. But as it turns out, those shoes were just the tip of the iceberg.

In addition to the aforementioned Vader sneakers, there's an entire Galactic Empire's worth of footwear based on "Star Wars" on the way from Adidas. StarWars.com offers the full run down, which includes sneakers modeled after Yoda, Luke Skywalker and Sandtroopers. Beyond the transition from character to shoe, Adidas is also offering T-shirts and track tops. Yes, "Star Wars" track tops. The force might not be with you while you're running, but hey, it's close enough.

The collection of "Star Wars" merchandise from Adidas is initially being divided into three "packs." The Character Pack includes "five sneakers, two short sleeve T-shirts and the Superstar Track Top," while the Vehicle Pack focuses on some of the franchise's most iconic ships, mobile bases and other such transportation devices, like the Millennium Falcon and the AT-AT.

A third pack, the Direct Pack, seems to lack a cohesive theme, probably because Adidas realized, "Wow, we're selling Star Wars shoes and track tops. Do we really need a cohesive theme when everybody in the world is going to buy this junk anyway?"
