Agent Carter Finally Gets Her Funko Pop Due

Fresh off the news the baddest lady in the Marvel Cinematic Universe will get a second season of adventures, Funko has revealed its Agent Carter Peggy Carter Pop figure. Funko also announced some other things in a new blog post today, but sorry Spider-Man, you've had your chances; it's Peggy's time to shine.

Fans have been vocal about their love for the leading lady ever since her mini-series debuted during the Agents of SHIELD winter break. After finally getting some more female Funko support in the MCU from the recently released Melinda May, and the upcoming Black Widow, it seems Peggy Carter will be in some good company. This Funko Pop also marks the first collectible figure of any kind from the show, which we hope is only the beginning of Agent Carter goodies.

The figure presents Peggy in her infamous blue suit and red fedora, which has been a bit hit on the cosplay circuit, in addition to the adverts for the series. She's also got one of the macguffins from last season, the Blitzkrieg Button. As you might recall, the device was one of Howard Stark's stolen "babies"; ostensibly a short-range EMP, though its true purpose was a rather devious secret. The Agent Carter Peggy Carter Pop will be available starting in August, though you can pre-order from Entertainment Earth right now.

Funko also revealed two new keychains, one each for Spider-Man and Deadpool, which will be available in July. We also got our first look at the Wacky Wobbler bobbheads for Ant-Man and Yellowjacket, which look nice and boast some nice detail. I think the Funko Pop versions look a little nicer, as the bobbleheads are just a little too static in their posing. Those are also coming in July, right around the same time as the Ant-Man Pop figures.
