AMC may have curiously opted a to eschew Fear The Talking Dead as a title (they were okay with puns for Talking Bad), but Preacher will have no such luck when it comes to its own Hardwick-hosted after-show. That’s right, we’ll all be Talking Preacher after the May 29 premiere.

The network confirmed as much Monday morning, setting your boilerplate Chris Hardwick reaction show to air after both the May 29 encore airing of the premiere, as well as the July 31 finale. The first season of Fear The Walking Dead  did as much for its premiere and finale, so it remains to be seen if a second Preacher season would incorporate a Talking Preacher after every airing.

In any case, the May 29 Talking Preacher outing will feature Hardwick talking with series creators Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, along with star Dominic Cooper and producer Sam Catlin. Says AMC:

It’s very clear that Chris Hardwick knows how to lead and navigate a conversation about hordes of zombies on ‘Talking Dead’ and shifty lawyers on ‘Talking Saul,’ so we can’t wait to see how he’ll handle this new batch of insanely, out-of-this-world characters from ‘Preacher.’ It’s amazing to see Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon’s comic creation come to life and I know that Chris and our special guests on ‘Talking Preacher’ will have a great time engaging fans in a lively discussion around this twisted and unpredictable new series.

In the meantime, catch the latest trailers for yourself below, and stay tuned for more on the May 22 premiere.
