Both Arrow and The Flash have kept busy readying for their fourth and second respective seasons, yet a first look of the next crossover may already have emerged. A new photo from Stephen Amell teases a game-changer for Oliver and Barry, and one that could prove deadly … or joyous!

Amell shared the below photo of he and Flash star Grant Gustin suited up (in decidedly non-super attire), apparently the promise of a “game-changing” scene to come, potentially for either series. Worth noting, production also recently commenced on Arrow‘s seventh Season 4 installment “Brotherhood,” while the eighth outing of either season is expected as the crossover event setting up DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.

Granted, Amell shares a somewhat cantankerous relationship with the press and social media, often chiding speculation of his Arrow teases, but the actor himself admits to filming something with Gustin, one that ostensibly involves some dapper dress. Whether wedding, funeral, or other formal event is anyone’s guess, but we’ll at least rule out …  say, a trip to Atlantis.

In addition to its Constantine crossover, we know of Arrow Season 4 that the fourth year is expected to somewhat creatively revamp the series after its Season 3 finale saw Oliver retiring the vigilante lifestyle. In addition to a focusing on DC villains H.I.V.E. and Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough), Season 4 will also introduce Rutina Wesley, Parker Young, Jeri Ryan’s Jessica Danforth, J.R. Bourne’s Double Down, Echo Kellum’s Mr. Terrific, Alexander Calvert’s Anarky, and White Canary before her Legends of Tomorrow role.

Apart from Wendy Mericle’s elevation to co-showrunner alongside Marc Guggenheim, we also know that Punisher: War Zone director Lexi Alexander will helm an episode, and both Oliver and Diggle will sport new looks.

Arrow Season 4 will premiere on October 7, but check out the trailers below, and stand by for the latest!
