The CW’s Arrow has a world of work ahead of it in Season 4, already returning Oliver to the vigilante lifestyle with some slick new duds and a new name, and it seems the ex-billionaire vigilante will have a shiny new lair to go with it all. Sneak a peek at the “Arrow Bunker” in new concept art from the fourth CW season!

Where Season 2 saw Oliver’s so-called “lair” getting a major upgrade from Felicity,  subsequently raided and torn down by the end of the third season, Arrow Season 4 will have its biggest upgrade yet, per Entertainment Weekly. It isn’t clear exactly where the new “Bunker” set up shop (below Verdant again would seem irresponsible, but perhaps beneath the still-Palmer Technologies Felicity now runs?), though executive producer Marc Guggenheim offered an in-depth explanation for all the fancy new toys:

In designing the new lair, we had to think in terms of the much larger group that Oliver [Stephen Amell] has now surrounded himself with and how Team Arrow is a much bigger enterprise. One of the fun things about this lair is that as opposed to one big space, where everyone would congregate, it’s now a much larger space divided up into smaller spaces.

There is an area for Felicity [Emily Bett Rickards] to work, there is an area for Oliver to work out, and there is a garage. There are many different places we’ll continue to discover over the course of the season that give you a sense that this thing is a bit bigger than we got used to in the first three years.

In addition to its Constantine crossover, we know of Arrow Season 4 that the fourth year is expected to somewhat creatively revamp the series after its Season 3 finale saw Oliver retiring the vigilante lifestyle. In addition to a focusing on DC villains H.I.V.E. and Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough), Season 4 will also introduce Rutina Wesley, Parker Young, Jeri Ryan’s Jessica Danforth, J.R. Bourne’s Double Down, Echo Kellum’s Mr. Terrific, Alexander Calvert’s Anarky, and White Canary before her Legends of Tomorrow role. Apart from Wendy Mericle’s elevation to co-showrunner alongside Marc Guggenheim, we also know that Punisher: War Zone director Lexi Alexander will helm an episode.

Arrow Season 4 will premiere on October 7, but what do we think of the new look? Could the fourth year of the CW’s super-drama bring a scale unmatched by its predecessors?
