Atomic Roboeveryone's favorite pulp-action adventure hero who is also a robot, is back in an all-new miniseries that fills in some of the biggest gaps in the character's history. The series --- created by Brian Clevinger and Scott Wegener --- are some of the best all-ages adventure comics you can get your hands on, and ahead of the first issue's release next week, IDW have provided us with an exclusive look at Atomic Robo and the Temple of Od #1.

In the new series, Robo is on the hunt for a Japanese super weapon that could turn the tide of World War II and is sent to retrieve the scientist who created it. Originally published daily in half-page chunks online, IDW are now printing the latest miniseries digitally as part of its Creative Visions event which sees a new series launch every week throughout the month of August.
