Good Smile Company's The Amazing Spider-Man Figma won't be its lone Marvel hero for much longer. This past weekend at Wonder Festival in Japan, the toymaker displayed its painted Iron Man and Thor prototypes, along with an unpainted Captain America, assembling three of the biggest stars from The Avengers movie.

These upcoming Avengers figures follow recent Nendoroid announcements for GSC's Iron Man Mark 42 and Iron Patriot, plus the release of fellow Figmas of The Amazing Spider-Man and a new Avengers-model Iron Man. An unpainted Hulk prototype was shown at least year's Wonder Festival, but was conspicuously absent this time around.

Thor and Iron Man seem to be slated for a July release and will retail in Japan for 6,800 Yen ($66.46 USD), with Cap set to arrive in the fall of 2014 for around the same amount. None of the figures have popped up on North American preorder sites just yet, but they'll probably retail for roughly $65 when the time comes.

Articulation-wise, these new figures aren't unlike Hasbro's Marvel Legends scale toys. The biggest differences between the lines has to do with the Figma approach to paint applications and articulation placement. Hasbro's releasing its 6" scale figures in a much more uniform and flat-color style in recent years, giving the lines more and more common ground. You won't find swappable hands and clear stands packed in with Marvel Legends these days, though.
