‘Batman: Arkham Asylum’ Action Figures Break Into Toy Stores In January 2011

No offense intended to the maker of the expertly crafted “Batman: Arkham Asylum” Harley Quinn custom action figure, but I’m pretty stoked to see that the real deal is on the way.

The folks at Toy News International have posted a slew of photos of the upcoming “Batman: Arkham Asylum” action figures, based on the popular video game of the same name. Included in the first wave of DC Direct’s new action figure line are Batman himself, Harley Quinn, the rail thin Scarecrow and the Joker alongside his good buddy Scarface the puppet. But take a good long look at these glorious photos, because they aren’t hitting toy store shelves until January 12, 2011. By then, we’ll probably be close the release of the “Arkham Asylum” sequel featuring Two-Face and Talia al Ghul.

Check out more photos of the “Arkham Asylum” action figures after the jump.
