Earlier this summer fans got an initial look at a trailer for Warner Home Video's animated adaptation of Frank Miller's Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part 1, which established the feature's basic premise and showcased voice actor Frank "RoboCop" Weller's take on the grim and gritty Caped Crusader. A second clip dropped today containing a bit of the same footage, but expanding upon Batman's first night back in action after years of cape and cowl-lessness. The coolest shot, of course, is Batman leaping through the lightning-cracked sky ala the cover to B:TDKR #1 and various collections of the series over the years. Set to arrive on Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack, DVD and digital download on September 25, the feature also sports the voice talent of Ariel Winter as Carrie Kelley, Wade Williams as Two-Face and David Selby as Commissioner Gordon. You can check out the first official Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part 1 clip after the cut.
