Parting Shot: How Would Batman Beat The Avengers?

Our friends at Moviefone have been working with comics artist Dennis Culver (Edison Rex) to depict how the Batman of Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy could conceivably defeat the Avengers of Joss Whedon’s film. Scenarios were suggested by Moviefone readers, and the best were selected to be drawn by Culver. In the image above, we see that “After an amazing display of cunning, Nick Fury agrees to help Batman permanently crossover from DC and lead the Avengers.” In the image below, we see the Dark Knight’s clever plan to take out the God of Thunder.

Thor comes flying in and Batman says, “who are you?”

Thor says, “I am the God of thunder, THOR!!!”

Batman says, ” I’m an atheist, I don’t believe in Gods…”

Thor disappears in a puff of smoke.

You can see Batman take on Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow, the Hulk and Hawkeye over at Moviefone.
