With Marvel sitting out Comic-Con 2015, everyone assumed that Warner Bros. would use this opportunity to make a big splash at Comic-Con with their Justice League universe. Today, as Warner Bros. officially announced their Comic-Con plans and confirmed those suspicions with news on their Batman vs. Superman panel, who from the cast will be attending and promised some “unexpected offerings”.

Before we get to the good stuff, Warner Bros. will be promoting some of their other movies during their Saturday afternoon panel as well. Hugh Jackman will be on hand to share a new look at the upcoming Peter Pan reboot, Pan. And, before he takes the stage to talk Superman, Henry Cavill will join Armie Hammer (a man once cast as Batman in a failed Justice League movie) to talk The Man From U.N.C.L.E.

After everyone politely claps for those two projects, Warner Bros. will bring out the big guns. Director Zack Snyder will introduce Comic-Con to the full Batman vs. Superman cast — Cavill, Ben Affleck, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons and Holly Hunter — plus an “exclusive look at footage” from the upcoming film.

That would probably be enough for most years, but Warner Bros. is using Comic-Con 2015 as a sort of unofficial launch of the larger DC Movie Universe and will also reportedly be bringing out some (or all) of the Suicide Squad cast with a first look at that film. And, if you really want to get hopeful, there have been persistent rumors that the studio will cap off their presentation with an introduction to the assembled Justice League: Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash and maybe even an introduction to Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter and others.

Stay tuned as we bring you all the latest updates live, as they happen, from Comic-Con 2015!
