Following a well earned six-issue break, artist JH Williams III returns to DC Comics' Batwoman series with this week's issue #12. Also the series' co-writer (with W. Haden Blackman), Williams' work with colorist Dave Stewart and letterer Todd Klein has made Batwoman the visual standout of DC's New 52 line and a great exemplar of female superheroism,

so it's pretty cool that for the book's one-year anniversary the team is bringing in an auspicious guest-star: Wonder Woman. The storyline, "To Drown the World," is a nonlinear affair that finds the Amazon princess in pursuit of a supernatural cult, something readers know Batwoman has a lot of experience with. Basically, if you dig Batwoman and Wonder Woman, it probably can't look better than what begins in issue #12. Take a sneak peek below.
