The ComicsAlliance staff was deeply saddened today by the death of Adam Yauch, better known as MCA of the Beastie Boys. With a career that spanned over 30 years, Yauch leaves behind a legacy of music, activism and film, including one of our favorite comics-related pieces of pop culture.

The video for the Beastie Boys' "Body Movin," directed by Yauch under the pseudonym Nathaniel Hörnblowér, was both a parody of and a tribute to Diabolik, the Italian comic book and film that also inspired Fantomex of the X-Men. It's a great testament to the talent, energy, creativity and sense of humor that MCA brought to his projects, and you can ch-check it out below.
