Officially titled Castle: Richard Castle's Deadly Storm, the Marvel Comics graphic novel goes on sale in September.Airing on the ABC network in the United States, Castle stars Nathan Fillion as Richard Castle, a mystery novelist whose gifts of intuition make him a valuable aid to the police of New York City. Marvel and ABC had a bit of fun in the press release announcing the graphic novel, quoting the fictional writer himself...

The release of Castle: Richard Castle's Deadly Storm marks the first adaptation, in any medium, of the Derrick Storm novels by New York Times best-selling author Richard Castle.


Marvel Editor-in-Chief Axel Alonso played along, but snuck in the crucial point that comics based on the popular Castle series have the potential to bring new readers to the sequential storytelling medium.

Castle: Richard Castle's Deadly Storm will be hyped on tonight's season finale of Castle, broadcasting on ABC at 10pm EST.
