Blondie Goes Boating with Kermit the Frog

Here’s a quick litmus test: When I say the name “Blondie,” do you think of Dagwood Bumstead’s wife, or Debbie Harry? Comics creator Jonathan Case illustrated the latter in piece for a hotel’s “Tide is High” room, floating down a flooded street in a boat that looks heart-shaped disco ball while Kermit the Frog climbs aboard. I don’t know what that means, but I like it.

Also, If you’re not familiar with Case’s “Sea Freak” (“the tale of an atomic mutant in 1962 with a hunger for poetry and human flesh”) then take this opportunity get acquainted; it’s fabulously beautiful, and he’s in the final stages of prepping it for publication.
