It’s a Nice Day For a White Lantern

Ever since the various lantern corps began to fill out the color spectrum fans have been wondering when they’d all combine for a white ring. Now with the “Brightest Day” event looming (and a big reveal at the end of this week’s “Blackest Night” #7) it seemed almost assured that the title’s logo would somehow manifest as a physical counterpoint to all the Black Lantern devastation that’s been leaving its mark on the DCU this past year.

Well now DC’s The Source has finally shed some light (pun intended!) on the shape – or rather color, of things to come with a white ring added to the company’s promotional giveaway program – along with DC Direct’s light-up spectrum set (pictured).

The promotional rings can be picked up at participating retailers once “Brightest Day” #1 arrives in stores in May.
