With Dr. Arnim Zola set to appear in at least his human form in Captain America: The First Avenger, fans of disgusting evil torso faces everywhere have been squirming to find out whether the HYDRA scientist's robot form would manifest. While his robo status in the Cap movie may still be in question, it's nice to see Arnim Zola will be 100 percent punchable in Sega's videogame tie-in Captain America: Super Soldier.Awhile back I mused about what a Marvel movieverse Zola might look like with some crude Photoshoppery. Needless to say, Next Level Games topped my efforts and have put a very cool spin on the scientist's robot body for Super Soldier. It seems a little less than likely that this form will crop up in The First Avenger, but it's a lot of fun to see the film's aesthetic applied here.

In addition to Zola, fans will face plenty of trouble at the hands of tons of scores of specialized HYDRA goons, Madame Hydra, Baron von Strucker, Iron Cross and of course the Red Skull on the various Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo DS, PlayStation 3, Wii and Xbox 360 versions of Super Soldier when it drops on July 19.

Take in Sega's official images and character descriptions from Captain America: Super Soldier's third mug shot series release below:

Arnim Zola Robot

A genius in biology and chemistry, Arnim Zola is one of the enemy's chief scientific minds and a genetic genius who turns a blind eye to human experimentation. Small and frail, Zola is not afraid to go beyond the barriers of science to achieve strength. Rumors that he is attempting to meld the human brain with a robot body have been circulating, but nothing has been heard on this front in quite some time.

Red Skull

Johann Schmidt, a.k.a. the Red Skull, imprisoned Dr. Erskine and forced him to research Super-Soldier Serum. After Dr. Erskine escaped, Schmidt used the unfinished serum on himself. It likely bestowed powers similar to Captain America's, but with physical deformities. The power-mad Red Skull controls Hydra and must be stopped before he unleashes an unearthly energy source called the "Cosmic Cube."

Scorcher

Encased in a flame-proof suit, the Scorcher enemy is outfitted with all manner of heat-based weaponry. His main weapon is a plasma cannon that fires out a particle beam well over 1000 degrees Kelvin. The cannon is also outfitted with an incendiary RPG launcher. Cap's shield should come in handy against such a foe.
