When you really think about it, the fact that we are living in a time where you can get high-end statues of Bebop from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles based on the work of illustrator and artist James Jean is a pretty surprising development. I mean, that we can get any Bebop statue would be kind of remarkable --- what with him being a mutant warthog who was created during negotiations for a toy line and all --- but a James Jean Bebop statue? That's supposed meant to link up with four other villains statues in a big diorama of evil ninjutsu? It's remarkable. And it's happening. This week, Japan's Good Smile Company released their Jean-inspired Bebop statue for pre-order, and it's pretty fantastic.

Whether you're a statue collector or not, you have to respect one thing about Tweeterhead's line of Classic Batman statues: They're certainly not taking the easy way out. Sure, they've done the characters you'd expect from a line inspired by the Batman stories of the '50s and '60s, with Batman, Robin, the Joker, Penguin, and Two-Face, all represented, and they've even stepped outside the roster of characters that endured to the modern day with a tribute to Kathy Kane's Bat-Woman. Now, though, they're digging deep with their next release: Bat-Girl!

If you thought there was only going to be one Harley Quinn figure released from Hot Toys, then you clearly don't know the power of Harleen Quinzel. She was a multimedia superstar well before this film arrived, and her star is only going to shine brighter thanks to Margot Robbie's portrayal and subsequent "solo" film, Gotham City Sirens. Though the more iconic version of the character from Suicide Squad already got her action figure debut, Hot Toys is all about those variants, including this Bell Reve Prisoner iteration.

It was only a matter of time until the DC Bombshells made their way to the realm of Funko Pop. The characters that started as a statue series, then got their own series, and then got action figures and more collectibles based on that comic series have officially come full circle. As with any bit of pop culture though, you haven't truly transcended your medium until you get a Funko figure. Now that the DC Bombshells have found their way to the affordable vinyl figure series, they're even more unstoppable a force than they were before.

For more than a year now, DC Collectibles has been making Batman: The Animated Series fans' dreams come true with an action figure line that captures everything we loved about the legendary cartoon. While the process of putting these figures out hasn't been 100% smooth all the way through, DC Collectibles' efforts have given us one of the deepest and most screen accurate action figure lines in the company's history. However, there have been a few characters fans have been looking for that haven't made the leap just yet. This August, it looks like that all changes when Renee Montoya, Bane, Killer Croc, Mr. Freeze and Poison Ivy get their own box set.

On this day in history, Venom made his debut in the pages of Amazing Spider-Man. You might have heard a little something about it. To commemorate the occasion, Sideshow Collectibles officially unveiled its new Venom Premium Format Figure. The hulking symbiotic spider-monster now joins Spider-Man, Carnage, Black Cat and Green Goblin in Sideshow's expanding Spider-Statue series. Venom might also be the baddest in the bunch.

Though it may be a little behind the theatrical release of Doctor Strange's Marvel Cinematic Universe debut, SH Figuarts won't be too far off from the home video release with its newest action figure. Then again, SH Figuarts is often just a tad bit beyond the curve when it comes to timeliness in action figure releases. When the figures are as impressive as the typical Figuarts release is though, the wait is more than worth it. That looks to hold true here for Doctor Strange as well.

For longer than some people have been alive on this planet, the Joker has terrorized the Dark Knight. While it hasn't been 75 years since Hot Toys first teased its take on the Batman: Arkham Asylum version of the Joker, the gap between the first hints such a figure existed and it's official reveal today sure felt like seven decades. But here we are, and now Batman's most well-known foe is finally ready to make his grand debut... later this year.

In what appears to be an effort to wear me down to the point where I just automatically hand them money, Super7 has released a line of figures that (officially) mash up MUSCLE with Street Fighter II, and they're available to order today.

Though Suicide Squad itself may not linger on many "Best of" lists, Margot Robbie's take on the character has drawn enough acclaim to earn her a new movie, and possibly the brightest future of any villain in the DC Cinematic Universe. Now that we know the cinematic version of Harley Quinn isn't going anywhere any time soon, we can settle in for even more merchandise based on the character as portrayed by Robbie. That goes double for merchandise that won't be out for a full calendar year, like Prime 1 Studio's new Harley Quinn 1:4 scale statue.
