Holiday shopping can get pretty daunting. Fortunately Dark Horse Comics is making a little personal retail therapy possible for those of you seeking to take the edge off.

Why, their massive donation to The Portland Mercury charity auction contains enough loot to choke a Bad Horse.

The lot of goodies is practically perfect for fans seeking such items as a limited-edition lithograph by Travis Charest (signed by Charest, Joss Whedon and Mike Mignola), a full set of DH's new One-Shot Wonders comics (including "The Goon," "Conan," "Abe Sapien" and "Sugar Shock"), plus the recent "Dr. Horrible" issue and a page from its interior by artist Joëlle Jones. There's also a full TPB run of "The Umbrella Academy," a UA T-shirt and Goon Jones Soda (you can drink the Goon!).

You might want to take a second to take it all in, but not too long since the auction ends Dec. 11. The pack is valued at $500, but between the Jones artwork and comics I'd value it closer to, well, more than $500 easily.

If you've got the dough, it's a perfect way to be selfish AND help others.
