We’ll remember to pour one out for Agent Carter on the Comic-Con circuit, but it looks like the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. have a new friend to play with in San Diego. Marvel has officially confirmed both its flagship ABC drama and Netflix’s Luke Cage are coming to Comic-Con 2016, the first details of which have arrived.

According to Marvel’s official confirmation, Luke Cage will arrive first on Thursday, July 21 at 5:45, situated in Ballroom 20 comprised of stars Mike Colter, Alfre Woodard, Mahershala Ali, Theo Rossi, Simone Missick, Frank Whaley, and showrunner and executive Producer, Cheo Hodari Coker.

Meanwhile, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will preview Season 4 on Friday, July 22, also in Ballroom 20, but starting at 3:00 P.M. Joining the fight will be Clark Gregg, Chloe Bennet, Ming-Na Wen, Elizabeth Henstridge, Iain de Caestecker, Henry Simmons and executive producers Jed Whedon, Maurissa Tancharoen, Jeff Bell and Jeph Loeb.

Time will tell what Luke Cage (or any other Defenders?) bring to Comic-Con 2016, but what should we hope for from the big Marvel presentation? Is a pilot screening at least in order?
