For Real This Time, Comic-Con Registration Begins on November 22

Alright, let’s try this again. Set your alarms for 6 a.m. (PST) on November 22, when Comic-Con International makes its second attempt to open registration for the 2011 San Diego show that runs Thursday, July 21 through Sunday, July 24. Adult attendees will be able to purchase either four-day memberships for $105 or single-day memberships for $37. Four-day passes that include access to 2011′s Comic-Con Preview Night were already sold out at this year’s convention, but more may be made available later.

Registration was originally scheduled for last week, November 1, but had to be aborted when the Comic-Con’s registration partner’s website suffered the Internet equivalent of a warp core breach, resulting in only a handful of tickets sold.

“2010 was the fourth straight year in which we reached a self-imposed attendance capacity,” said David Glanzer, Comic-Con’s Director of Marketing and Public Relations in a statement. “With the impressive roster of talent we already have lined up for 2011, we expect that enthusiasm to continue and for the 2011 show to be one to remember.”Comic-Con previously released a list of special guests confirmed to make appearances at the 2011 show, which we’re republishing here:
