The most anticipated beat 'em up of the year just got more...anticipated! Continuing to inspire the kind of drool that fans had just finished wiping off themselves following E3, Ubisoft has unleashed an all-new trailer for "Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World: The Game."

Featuring new gameplay footage, new in-game art by pixel-maestro Paul Robertson and scads of snippets from Anamanaguchi's chiptunes soundtrack, the trailer is replete with what SP fans crave. The downloadable game's August 10th release date on the PS3 is certainly well-timed considering how many fans have already blazed through "Scott Pilgrim's Finest Hour," (most of the CA staff included). It's unfortunate that Xbox owners will have to wait longer to try out the brawler (and those with a Wii or handheld system seem pretty much completely out of luck thus far), but honestly, I'll take any excuse to go buy a PS3.
