Comics, Everybody: The History of Hawkeye Explained

It's time again to break down the convoluted history of a comic book character in the recurring segment we call Comics, Everybody, written by Curt Franklin and drawn by Chris Haley of the webcomic Let's Be Friends Again! Today's subject: the Marvel Comics superhero Hawkeye, best known around the world as "that archer guy... who was that guy?" in Joss Whedon's Avengers film. Although you might think a superhero equipped with just a bow, arrow and a great eye would offer few twists through the labyrinth of comics continuity, you would be wrong.
