While other sites may be content to bring you Rocktober, Shocktober or Mohawktober, ComicsAlliance is committed to celebrating the things that really matter! That's why this month, we're bringing you 31 days of dinosaur-fighting action with our month-long celebration of Turoktober!DID YOU KNOW...

• Turok kills dinosaurs with a bow and arrow. Seriously, that is his entire deal. Unsurprisingly, he was a very popular character in video games, because he kills dinosaurs with a bow and arrow.
• Since his creation in 1954 as a character living in a "Pre-Columbian" America infested with dinosaurs, Turok has been rebooted a couple of times. When Valiant took over, they recast him into "a land where time has no meaning," which basically meant he could kill aliens with a bow and arrow too.
• Google autocompletes "turok comic" to "turok comic value." The '90s, you have a lot to answer for.
