Good news, manga fans who prefer Comixology over all other digital comics platforms: it's now easier to get your VIZ Media manga fix. This seems to be part of VIZ's ongoing dedication to diversifying the platforms their digital manga is available on, which leaders at the company reported as important over a year ago. As of this week, VIZ has added 650 volumes - over 65 total series - to the Comixology library. These titles are from those originally published by Shogakukan in Japan. This brings the grand total of VIZ offerings up on Comixology to 190 series and 1,100 volumes. Plus, to celebrate this occasion, there's a sale on a few VIZ bundles to get your collection started or to continue building your collection.

The bundles are an interesting variety, ranging from shonen starter packs like this one, which includes the first volume of books like Bleach, Death Note, and Naruto, to packs of 10 volumes of long-running shoujo books like Boys Over Flowers. Sure, the fact that you can now get for $20 on Comixology what I once paid $100 for in print makes me a little weepy, but good for you. The new additions to the store include Magi volumes 1-10, Case Closed volumes 1-53, Happy Marriage?! volumes 1-10, and Midnight Secretary volumes 1-7.

These titles were already available on other digital platforms, including VIZ's own site and app. But for a publisher that continuously experiments with digital and tries to get as many of its books available in different outlets as possible, it's no surprise that VIZ would expand its partnership with a major player like Comixology. If you prefer to keep all your comics in one place, on one app, and you also love manga, this is a boon for you.
