The CW’s Legends of Tomorrow pulled quite a bit of focus from Arrow and The Flash’s shared universe, so much so that we’d nearly forgotten the animated Vixen series on CW Seed. Now, the network has announced who will voice the iconic animal-wielding hero, as well as what Arrow and Flash stars will drop in on Vixen for some shared continuity.

The Mary Sue reports that The Following star Megalyn Echikunwoke will lend her voice to the six-episode animated series later this summer. For those unfamiliar with the character, Vixen (real name Mari McCabe) gains her powers from a Tantu Totem inherited from her parents, which grants her the abilities of any animal.

Additionally, confirmed to grant their voices to the series are Stephen Amell (Oliver Queen), Grant Gustin (Barry Allen), Emily Bett Rickards (Felicity Smoak), and Carlos Valdes (Cisco Ramon). Vixen will share continuity with its live-action counterparts, though no word if the animated character will eventually debut as such.

We’ll learn more from Comic-Con 2015, but could Vixen make a worthwhile addition to the likes of Arrow, Flash and Legends of Tomorrow?
