Dave Bardin Draws Junior Punisher, Bat-Squirrel And The Fashion History Of Superman [Art]

Like a lot of artists, Dave Bardin plays with redesigns of popular characters, drawing and redrawing them until he’s satisfied with the results. Many of Bardin’s pieces are carefully studied reinterpretations of Batgirl, Popeye, the Big Bad Wolf and Superman, mixed in with his own hilarious illustrations of zombie nuns and babies who battle pterodactyls.

You can keep up with Bardin’s artwork on his website, Tumblr and deviantART, and he has prints of many of his pieces, including his popular “Man of Fashion,” at Society6. Now I’m stumped as to what I want to see more: a Bat-Squirrel comic, or Babies vs. Pterodactyl.
