What Would a David Lynch-Directed ‘Spider-Man’ Movie Look Like? [Art]

Just for the hell of it, comics writer Warren Ellis put forth a challenge to the members of his Whitechapel community that has yielded some fascinating results. The writer of such works as Transmetropolitan and FreakAngels asked for poster designs for a David Lynch film called "Spider-Man." With no other details to go on and a week in which to create their submissions, the Whitechapel members returned with some pretty great designs -- more than one of which make a compelling case for a real David Lynch-directed Spider-Man movie.
