Following in the action figure footsteps of Batman: Arkham City, it looks like the next big DC Comics video game, Injustice: Gods Among Us will be receiving toys from not just Mattel, but also DC Collectibles. While Mattel's focus in 2013 is on 5-6" Superman and Batman figures, so far, DCC will avoid doubling-up (at least initially) with the release of two "vs." style two-packs featuring 3.75" versions of Green Arrow/Deathstroke and Wonder Woman/Solomon Grundy. Retailing for about $30, each pack is set to arrive in specialty stores and online in April. DCC hasn't unveiled images of Wonder Woman or Grundy yet, but new shots of Deathstroke and GA demonstrate the line's continued commitment to increasing articulation past the old DC Direct toys.

From DC's official solicitation info:
Injustice: Gods Among Us Action Figure 2-pack Series 1: Green Arrow/ Deathstroke

3 3/4 inch scale fully-articulated action figures with character specific accessories. Packaged in a 4/c window box.

Master Archer vs. Master Assassin!

Straight the highly anticipated new game "Injustice: Gods Among Us" comes two masters of precision, Green Arrow and Deathstroke! But who will win?! One thing's for sure-Oliver Queen has no problem bringing a bow to a gunfight!

Injustice: Gods Among Us Action Figure 2-pack Series 1: Wonder Woman/ Solomon Grundy

Amazonian Wonder vs. Cursed Powerhouse!

Straight the highly anticipated new game "Injustice: Gods Among Us" comes a powerful 1-2 punch featuring Wonder Woman and Solomon Grundy! "Can't stop Grundy?" I think a certain Amazonian Warrior Princess might have something to say about that!

Deathstroke does a number on ol' Ollie in the latest I:GAU trailer, and these solicitation images seem to indicate that these figures will be posable enough to reasonably recreate the carnage. The new scale is in line with the convention-exclusive Green Lantern 2-packs DCC began offering at San Diego this past summer, so it should be interesting to see which characters stand 3.75" tall next.
