This summer's Green Lantern movie from Warner Bros. means a massive toy rollout from Mattel, and DC Direct's comic book based action figure offerings will be equally robust heading into Autumn with eight new figures set to arrive in November as part of the 4th GL series and a Blackest Night box set.The fourth wave of DC Direct's current Green Lantern line includes Arkkis Chummuk, a "Power Glow" Hal Jordan, Stel's current comic look and Guy Gardner raging out in his Red Lantern incarnation (he'll even come with a chainsaw).

The Blackest Night box set will house Indigo Munnk, Green Lantern/Blue Lantern Hal Jordan, Black Lantern Blue Beetle and Star Sapphire Fatality figures, along with the 48-page Blackest Night Special Edition #1 comic that includes content from Green Lantern #40 and 41, plus Booster Gold #27.

While DC Universe Classics collectors can pick up three of these characters in 5-6" Mattel form, the Red Lantern Guy and the entire Blackest Night box set are only available in these forthcoming DC Direct Lines at the moment. As a dude who can't get enough robot action figures, I can't really complain about having yet another Stel, though -- especially since he kind of looks like a wonderful green RoboCop.
