The Sinestro Horde — er, Corps Joins ‘DC Universe Online’

Sony Online Entertainment continues to roll out more and more really cool stuff in advance of “DC Universe Online,” the massively multiplayer online role-playing game based on the superheroes of DC Comics. This latest dump of screenshots features not just examples of the “Play as Iconic” mode, but also some familiar DC Universe landmarks redesigned for the game, including the Ace O’ Clubs, a Metropolis bar owned by Superman’s biggest fan, Bibbo Bibbowski; Steelworks, the factory/laboratory of John Henry Irons, better known as Steel; and Amusement Mile, which isn’t quite familiar to this Batman fan but is said to be the location of one of the Joker’s many abandoned fun-house lairs.

For Green Lantern fans, however, the most important feature of the new screenshots is the inclusion of the evil Sinestro Corps.

Featuring art direction by artist and DC C-Publisher Jim Lee with a story by writer and DC Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns, “DC Universe Online” goes on sale November 2. Check out the new images below:
