Deadpool and Thanos come from very different worlds, literally and figuratively (oh, and cinematically). The Merc with a Mouth is a Looney Tunes-esque gun-for-hire whose main concern seems to be where his next chimichanga is coming from. The Mad Titan is one of Marvel's most despicable villains, hungry for the power that will allow him to kill the greatest number of people. Thanos takes himself very seriously. Deadpool doesn't take anything seriously.

But there is one thing these fellas share in common. They're both in love with death. Sorry; Death --- the anthropomorphic personifcation of death. In fact, they've both dated her. That certainly gives Death's two ex-boyfriends something to talk about, and in Tim Seeley and Elmo Bondoc's upcoming Deadpool Vs Thanos four-issue series, it looks like they'll be doing most of the talking with their fists. Or guns. Or explosions. But it looks like they'll have to work together when their mutual paramour goes AWOL.

Yes, Death is missing. It's going to get violent.
