Elektra Fully Revealed in Fighting New ‘Daredevil’ Season 2 Tease
Marvel’s Netflix Daredevil has kept Elodie Yung’s Elektra somewhat under wraps, teasing a larger presence in the second trailer arriving tomorrow, but why wait? Masks up, sais out, as Elektra kicks more ass than either of the boys in a new Season 2 teaser and poster.
Ahead of tomorrow’s trailer release, Netflix released the fifth, and presumably final character art teaser, following Daredevil’s bondage bent, Foggy and Karen, and Punisher’s Bane impression. This time, we see what looks to be the only costume Elektra might need, including a red mask, as she decimates Hell’s Kitchen thugs.
So reads the official Daredevil Season 2 synopsis:
Just when Matt thinks he is bringing order back to the city, new forces are rising in Hell’s Kitchen. Now the Man Without Fear must take on a new adversary in Frank Castle and face an old flame – Elektra Natchios.
Bigger problems emerge when Frank Castle, a man looking for vengeance, is reborn as The Punisher, a man who takes justice into his own hands in Matt’s neighborhood. Meanwhile, Matt must balance his duty to his community as a lawyer and his dangerous life as the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen, facing a life-altering choice that forces him to truly understand what it means to be a hero.
So far of Daredevil Season 2, we know for sure that Rosario Dawson has been confirmed to reprise her role as Claire Temple, along with Scott Glenn’s Stick. In addition to Elodie Yung’s Elektra and Jon Bernthal’s Punisher, Drew Goddard remains aboard as a consultant, though the series has changed showrunners from Steven DeKnight to Marco Rodriguez and Doug Petrie.
