First it was rumored, then Samuel L. Jackson said something about it, but it wasn't fully nailed down until today that actress Elizabeth Olsen will for-sure be playing the Scarlet Witch in Avengers: Age of Ultron.

The actress herself confirmed it to MTV in a press junket for the upcoming Oldboy remake.

Olsen said she's pleased to be working with actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson again, who she also worked with in the new Godzilla film. Taylor-Johnson will play Quicksilver, the Scarlet Witch's brother, in the movie.

"I just love him," she said. "I love his family. I love his kids. I'm so excited... to actually work with each other. I think it's going to be fun."

Olsen also talked a bit about Avengers director Joss Whedon: "He's very smart. He's too smart. He might be too smart. Some people are too smart for their own good, but he's amazing."
